Worried about Covid-19 exposure? So are we! Whether our area is categorized as “red” or “green”, here’s what we’re doing in compliance with state and national guidelines to minimize risks of infection for as long as Covid-19 remains a threat to our communities.
- Two-week holds between borrowing toys. All toys go directly into a quarantine hold before they’re cleaned and sanitized. While it means you might have to wait a bit longer for a toy that’s already in use, this approach means that any toy borrowed will have at least a two-week window from the time it was last returned by someone.
- Outdoor, primarily contactless deliveries for pick-ups and returns. Out of an abundance of caution, we are conducting toy returns and pick-ups on a biweekly schedule. Members can choose to borrow a toy for a minimum of two weeks or a maximum of one month, usually with an option to renew. This approach means that all returned toys will quarantine for at least two weeks prior to reuse, in addition to being cleaned and sanitized.
- No public access to our toy library. We are currently only making our toy library collection available online. This means there’s no browsing or touching of toys by anyone except our toy handler before you get them!
- A thorough toy cleaning and sanitization policy. While you can learn more about our standard cleaning and sanitization policy here, please know that we adhere to comprehensive, thoroughly researched cleaning and sanitization principles aligned with public health guidelines and recommendations for schools and daycares.
