Worried about Covid-19 exposure? So are we! Whether our area is categorized as “red” or “green”, here’s what we’re doing in compliance with state and national guidelines to minimize risks of infection for as long as Covid-19 remains a threat to our communities.
- Generous holds between borrowing toys. All toys go directly into a week-plus quarantine hold before they’re cleaned and sanitized. While it means you might have to wait a bit longer for a toy that’s already in use, this approach means that any toy borrowed will have at least a two-week window from the time it was last returned by someone.
- Outdoor, primarily contactless deliveries for pick-ups and returns. Out of an abundance of caution, we are conducting toy contactless deliveries and pick-ups on a biweekly schedule. Members can choose to borrow most toys for a minimum of two weeks or up to two months, usually with an option to renew.
- No public access to our toy library. We are currently only making our toy library collection available online. This means there’s no browsing or touching of toys by anyone except our toy handlers and delivery drivers before you get them!
- A thorough toy cleaning and sanitization policy. While you can learn more about our standard cleaning and sanitization policy here, please know that we adhere to comprehensive, thoroughly researched cleaning and sanitization principles aligned with public health guidelines and recommendations for schools, daycares and libraries.
