To serve our members, benefit our community, and support our sustainability-based mission, we’re constantly shaping our toy library collection, growing our scholarship list of families and redistributing items to our non-profit partners. Here are a few ways where your support can really make a difference.
Contribute to our BetterWorld fund. We created this fund based on requests to provide an alternative way for families and nonmembers to support The Toyary outside of membership. Consider sharing this campaign as a gifting option for your next party!
Donate new or gently preloved toys and games. In most cases, we can arrange a free pick-up for toys, games and other play experiences that meet the criteria below. If we receive items that do not fit our toy library criteria, we do our best to redistribute them to our nonprofit partners or local families. Please note, we do not accept broken or recalled items.
- New and pre-loved play items: New or “like new”, indoor and outdoor items that support developmental play for ages 0-8+ years.
- Stuffed animals and books: We will take stuffed animals and children’s and parenting books, including those focused on children’s activities.
- Toys and games that are missing parts: These help us build our inventory of replacement parts!
Give the gift of a Toyary membership. Consider gifting a membership to The Toyary for a family you know. If you don’t have a family in mind, please do consider sponsoring a scholarship membership to a family on our list.
Ask us about our toy wishlist. We maintain a wishlist of items for The Toyary. These items can include new additions to our collection, play experiences that our members have specifically requested, and items or missing parts that just need to be replaced.
Help us spread the word! If you’re a fan of what we’re doing, we THANK YOU and hope you’ll join us in helping to spread the word—whether through your own networks, Facebook or Instagram! The more folks that know about us, the more children can benefit and the bigger our toy library collection can grow. Also, we just love to see how our toys and games are being enjoyed to promote fun and learning for our members.
